Steps

Tick a step’s number when it’s done. We’ll remember where you were.

  1. Open Media plans. Hover over the plan’s card and press the Archive plan icon, or open the plan and press Archive.

  2. In “Archive this plan?”, press .

  3. To bring it back, open the Archived tab and press the Unarchive icon on its card, or open the plan and press Unarchive.

When it worked

The plan leaves the Active tab and shows on the Archived tab with an Archived badge and the date. Once unarchived, it’s back on the Active tab.

If something goes wrong

  • You can’t see Archive.

Specialists can’t archive or unarchive plans. Ask an Agency Owner, Admin or Manager, or ask to have your role changed in Team.

  • Orbit showsThis plan can no longer be archived (it may have been deleted).

Someone has deleted the plan. Refresh Media plans to see the current list.

  • Orbit showsFailed to archive plan. Please check your connection and try again.

Press Close, check your connection, and try again.

  • Orbit showsArchived — unarchive to approve or edit

Press Unarchive on the plan’s page, then edit or approve it.

How it works

Limits: Archive, unarchive and delete: who can, and what happens

Archiving hides a plan from your active list and keeps everything, so you can bring it back. Deleting removes a plan and its lines for good. Agency Owners, Admins and Managers can do both; Specialists can’t.

  • An archived plan moves to the Archived tab with an “Archived” badge and the date. It keeps its status. You can open and export it, but Edit, Duplicate and Approve Plan are hidden until you unarchive it.
  • Unarchiving returns the plan to the Active tab.
  • Delete shows only on Draft plans and archived plans. To delete a plan in any other status, archive it first.
  • Deleting removes the plan and all its lines. Orbit has no way to bring a deleted plan back.
  • Archiving or deleting a plan doesn’t remove its campaign from Command Center.
